The T.E.C. Schools "Think. Explore. Create." is a newly established, private education model school for students in Preschool through Grade 8.
We offer a unique, values-based classical, interdisciplinary curriculum, which follows the Montessori pedagogy and integrates the S.T.E.A.M. approach.
T.E.C. in Worcester, MA
In June 2016, we established our flagship school, T.E.C. Elementary, serving children from kindergarten - grade 5 in Worcester, MA. Formed in record time of six months, the first school, T.E.C. Elementary, began small with only four students and grew exponentially to serve thirty-four students in kindergarten through grade six in the 2018-2019 school year in two mixed age classrooms. The school opened a Middle School for grades seven and eight in fall 2019 and is actively seeking to become an International Baccalaureate (IB) World
School.
T.E.C. Connect
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognized the need for a virtual learning environment and launched T.E.C. Connect, our Distance Learning Platform on March 14, 2020. We are proud to share that our students did not miss a single day of learning during the pandemic. Not only were we able to serve our students in Worcester, but we were also able to offer T.E.C. education to students across the USA, Canada, India and Singapore. Our global platform allows students and educators from all over the world to learn together and engage purposefully in social activities. T.E.C. Connect serves as a great platform for homeschoolers and international students.
Montessori Approach
We believe in Maria Montessori's proposition, "Follow the Child." In her book, Formation of Man, she states that all children are born with equal human potential - that irrespective of where they come from, they all follow the same natural laws of human development. As such, we, at T.E.C. Schools believe that each child is an individual and deserves an individualized approach to their education. Our focus is on the social, emotional, moral and intellectual development of each child.
