In keeping with Maria Montessori’s philosophy that children should have real-life experiences outside of the classroom, we are excited to continue with our partnerships in the beautiful city of Worcester.
Monano Art
Our friends from Monano Art regularly host workshops, after school programs, and summer programs at our school that immerse students in the fun and imagination that comes with art and music. Every class is a new and wonderful experience as students work on cardboard craft projects, play instruments, act out skits, jump in a foam pit, and much more! Worcester Art Museum
Students thoroughly enjoy our partnership with the Worcester Art Museum where we teach art lessons in the galleries. It is profoundly inspiring to learn from the masterpieces. Students study portraits, landscapes and color theory. They look through the galleries to find animals that we are studying, or sit in the great hall to sketch the Worcester Hunt mosaic. Crocodile River Music
In this unique immersion program, students learn African-drumming, with a focus on uplifting rhythms of West Africa. Students study various artifacts of Western Africa and create their own. They build a djembe and understand the science of sound. Students design and build instruments from around the world when they study the continents and how music rhythms and instruments traveled around the globe. Listen to the rhythms at
